Q: Did you forget you have a blog?
Q: Aren't there things going on that you want to write about?
A: Yes, yes there are.
Q: So what's your problem?
A: [no comment]
Q: Are you still pregnant?
Q: Are you any more pleasant to be around than you were last week?
A: [no comment]
Q: Is it too late to play the "guess that baby's name and birth day game?"
A: Nope. And as a number of people have pointed out, that's a fine, fine list of names so far. Very good guesses.
Q: How is Lily adjusting to California?
A: Eh. She doesn't so much enjoy the time change, hollers whenever her mama leaves the room, insists her mama stay with her at night until she has progressed through at least three REM cycles, and just isn't really that into her Uncle Matt or Aunt Elizabeth. She did, however, slip up and let us read her a book yesterday. Quickly realizing her faux pas, she's back to glaring and shaking her head if we try to hug her or get too close. Bribing with meals and snacks unsuccessful thus far. She is very much enjoying her cousins... most of the time.
Q: Did you go to the Stockton Asparagus Festival?
A: No. But we did giggle about the story in the paper about competitive asparagus spear throwing. In a non-pregnant year, we might have gone to gawk. But not when it's 94º outside.
Q: How's the internet house hunt going?
A: Just signed a lease on a house precisely 2814.41 miles away from where we currently reside.
Q: Are you crazy?
A: Probably. But we had trusted eyes looking at things for us, so we'll be fine. Well, I should say the house will be fine. We'll still be crazy by the time we get there. Remember last year?
