1. Gracie sometimes appears in bed—she doesn't announce herself first, so I find her there in the morning, often when I'm rolling over to turn off the alarm clock 2. Second post office visit this week; working on the terrible backlog of unmailed items 3. Bridget asked to write her name (she knows the letters, but doesn't know how to write them) 4. Awful, icky, pre-Christmas snow that will be around until May; I could live with it if it would just snow and cover it up 5. Library day 6. Daddy's home from TDY! Finally! Hooray! 7. Skype with Aunt Katherine and Juliette 8. Maddie's Valentine's Day party at school today 9. Homemade beef/barley/vegetable soup that no one liked but me 10. Friday = team gymnastics for Maddie 11. Opening ceremonies for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver 12. Little girls who got to stay up for the Parade of Nations
