I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to Broadway news but Maddie, Gracie, Bridget and I all perked up when we saw the performance by the cast of Hamilton on the Oscars because, Lin-Manuel Miranda!! Ok, so I had to look up his name and was completely surprised by his impressive resumé, because we only know him from Electric Company. HA! Now I really want to see Hamilton. (And apologies for not knowing what a big deal you were, Mr. Miranda)
This is a great ad and it's been stuck in our heads (Chile, Malawi). Except it bothers me that Simone Biles doesn't even get a cameo. But still, it's nice to see gymnastics getting some athletic respect.
WHAAAAAAT. This is the most bizarre thing I've read in a long time. Don't worry world, the Dillow girls will singlehandedly carry on the tradition of eating cereal.
I went on a This American Life bender while I was editing photos this month and caught up on a whole bunch of episodes; this story was up there with one of the most amazing I've ever listened to. You can read more about it here.
Wonderful. Truly wonderful in every way.
I am not a very social Pinterest user, but I do use Pinterest in a way that is very important to my "process," blah blah blah. And I've been very annoyed as of late with opening it up to see 29,000 "be a better parent/stop yelling/weird tips to get kids to listen" style recommended pins and nothing else, so I clicked around until I found this year-old post that is both enlightening and helpful.
Twice this month my plans to finally get here were thwarted, BUT I WILL PREVAIL. I don't know when, but soon.
Has anyone ever participated in a restaurant week? The Albuquerque one is coming up in March.
And finally, here's the Frontier Nights lineup for CFD if anyone is curious. Had you told me I'd see KISS in Cheyenne more than once in my lifetime... heh. p.s. If you go back and read that story, you'll be happy to know that a photo did show up eventually.
