You may or may not have noticed that Typepad was broken the past few days. Gone are a few of my draft posts, which I will work on at a later date. For now, however, I present the 2005 Dillow Family Christmas Tree. It is most definitely a family tree... if you look closely, you can spot the toilet-paper-tube ornament I made at story hour at the library when I was 3 or 4... a number of beautiful felt-and-sequin ornaments my mama made when I was little....a couple of googly-eyed pine cone reindeer that Matt made in Cub Scouts...the clothespin reindeer that I treasure so much, made by my second grade teacher, Mrs. Starner...a small blue bell that graced my Grandma's tree many years ago...lots of needlepointed ornaments made by my other Grandma...the list goes on. While Matt and I admire beautiful trees with matching ornaments placed just so, we really, really like our family tree.
