After an hour and 45 minutes of trick-or-treating, the big gang made it back to our house to drop off Bridget, who walked the entire way and earned every last bit of candy she had in her pumpkin. Everyone else went off to finish our circle, so I asked Bridget if she wanted to dump her candy out and let me take a picture of her. She did it, but in her most serious and pathetic voice she told me she was too. tired. to. smile.
